President Serdar Berdimuhamedov officially opened the Turkmenistan pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. As part of the ceremony, the head of state delivered a welcoming speech and cut a symbolic ribbon, marking the opening of a three-story exhibition.

In his speech, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the special significance of the exhibition for the country, noting the coincidence of the event with the International Year of Peace and Trust declared by the UN.

He also expressed gratitude to the organizers for the conditions created and confirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to international cooperation.

After the opening ceremony, the head of state, accompanied by official representatives of Japan, inspected the national pavilion, which presents the country's achievements in various areas of the economy, culture and industry.

The World Expo 2025 opened on April 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Japan's Osaka Prefecture and will run until October 13. Expo 2025 will involve 158 countries and regions, as well as seven international organizations. Turkmenistan's National Day at the Expo was held on April 14.
