THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN HELD A MEETING WITH THE HEAD OF THE ANENII NOI DISTRICT OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

As part of a working visit to the Republic of Moldova, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Moldova, with residence in Kyiv, visited the Anenii Noi District to honor the memory of the outstanding Turkmen writer and journalist Nurmyrat Sarykhanov and to visit the memorial complex in the village of Delacău.

During the stay of the Turkmen delegation in the district, a meeting was held with the head of the district administration, Moisei Alexandru. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

During the talks, the head of the district provided the Turkmen side with a detailed overview of the region’s socio-economic potential, noting that Anenii Noi is one of the country’s key agricultural centers, where primary focus is placed on the production and processing of agricultural products. The region is successfully developing areas such as the cultivation of grain crops, vegetables, and fruits, as well as livestock farming, a significant portion of which is exported.

The head of the administration expressed interest in developing bilateral cooperation with Turkmen partners.
