“TURKMENISTAN – UN”: THE 4TH MEETING OF THE STRATEGIC ADVISORY COUNCIL WAS HELD IN ASHGABAT
On 16.10.2025 the fourth meeting of the Turkmenistan-UN Strategic Advisory Council was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The meeting participants reviewed the Framework Program for Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN for 2026-2030 and discussed joint actions to implement initiatives reflected in Turkmenistan's priority positions at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. They also exchanged views on the implementation of the outcome documents of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC-3), and discussed joint programs between Turkmenistan and the UN.
In his speech, the head of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the strategic and long-term nature of cooperation with the UN system, noting the significant contribution of the Organization's agencies to the implementation of the country's national priorities and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
