TURKMENISTAN APPROVES MEDAL FOR 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF PERMANENT NEUTRALITY

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a law on Friday during an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers establishing the jubilee medal “Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna”.

Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova reported on the work carried out on the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on the development of the jubilee medal and a commemorative badge dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the neutrality anniversary.

The law provides for awarding individuals who have made a significant contribution to strengthening the country’s independence, permanent neutrality, international peace and trust, as well as to achievements in Turkmenistan’s political, economic and cultural spheres.

An International Forum for Peace will be held in Ashgabat on Dec. 12, 2025.
