THE 15TH MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL AHAL-TEKE HORSE BREEDING ASSOCIATION WAS HELD IN TURKMENISTAN

The 15th meeting of the International Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association was held at the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy in Arkadag. The event was attended by heads of specialized structures of Turkmenistan, members of the Association, domestic and foreign horse breeders.

The agenda of the 15th meeting included issues of the results of the Association's activities, awarding the honorary title "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy" ("Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan") in honor of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, as well as the admission of new members to the Association.

The participants of the meeting noted that over the past period, the organization has become a large international structure uniting the heads of equestrian complexes, famous horse breeders and horse trainers, specialists in breeding Ahal-Teke horses from around the world.

Foreign members of the Association spoke at the event, including the director of the horse breeding firm Jeýkob Ferdezuçt GBR Katharina Jacob (Germany). The meeting participants were greeted via digital communication by the head of the Garagum ahalteke horse breeding farm Jessica Eil Keith (USA), the president of the Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association of Spain Blanca de Toledo and the president of the Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association of France Eloise Girardi. The meeting included a ceremony of awarding the country's horse breeders the honorary title of "Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan" on the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse. A decision was also approved to admit new members to the Association from among Turkmen and foreign citizens.
