“TURKMENTEXTILE EXPO — 2026” INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR OPENS IN ASHGABAT

The international exhibition-fair “Turkmentextile Expo — 2026” opened on Wednesday at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a greeting message to the participants of the international exhibition. In his address, the head of state noted that the textile industry has become one of the key dynamically developing sectors of the national economy.

He also emphasized that in recent years, the industry’s production capacities have been expanded, advanced technologies have been introduced, and the range of export-oriented products has increased.

According to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, textile products made from environmentally friendly Turkmen cotton are widely recognized in international markets for their high quality, naturalness, and competitiveness, and are exported to many countries around the world. The head of state expressed confidence that the exhibition would be held at a high level and contribute to the further development of the textile industry and the strengthening of international cooperation.

The exhibition features textile machinery and equipment, clothing, footwear and leather goods, home textiles, eco-textiles, chemical materials and dyes, accessories, sewing accessories, as well as fashion, design, beauty, and jewelry products. The event also includes fashion shows featuring international and local designers, as well as master classes.
