Ukrainian poetry performed by Turkmen youth

The poetry marathon continues, uniting the voices and cultures of peoples. As part of it, Liliana Abdyshukurova, a representative of the Turkmen diaspora, presented Volodymyr Sosyura's poem "Like the sun in the sky, you are in my soul" is a heartfelt work by an outstanding Ukrainian lyricist.

Liliana turns to the poetry of a Ukrainian author whose work, in turn, touched on Turkmen classics, since Sosyura was not only a famous Ukrainian poet, but also a translator of the poems of the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy.

The work explores the theme of deep, radiant love that permeates all human existence—like the sun illuminates the sky. The poet's lyrics are relatable and understandable regardless of nationality, emphasizing the unity of cultures through the art of words.
