PRESIDENT BERDIMUHAMEDOV GREETS TURKMEN PEOPLE ON NEW YEAR

Turkmenistan celebrated the New Year with great celebration.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the Turkmen people on the arrival of the New Year 2026.

In his New Year’s address, the head of state said that major infrastructure projects had been implemented in 2025, while the industrial and agricultural sectors continued to develop and living standards improved.

The president noted that in the coming year the country will mark the 35th anniversary of its independence and will continue efforts to promote nationwide prosperity and well-being.

Berdimuhamedov wished citizens good health, happiness and success, expressing confidence that 2026 would bring new achievements.

New Year celebrations were held across all regions of Turkmenistan. The festivities concluded with a fireworks display lighting up the sky over the capital, Ashgabat.
