THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN TO UKRAINE MET WITH A DEPUTY MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF UKRAINE

On September 29, 2025, a meeting was held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine, Mr. Toyly Atayev, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Mr. Oleksandr Mishchenko.

During the talks, the parties discussed a number of issues relevant to mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, further interaction between the two countries within the framework of international organizations, and discussed proposals for political consultations.

The parties commended the stability of trade and economic cooperation between the countries and expressed a strong interest in expanding trade ties and further supporting Turkmen businesses in Ukraine and Ukrainian companies successfully operating in our country and interested in entering the Turkmen market.

Alexander Mishchenko presented the Ambassador of Turkmenistan with a congratulatory letter from the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the occasion of Turkmenistan's Independence Day. He also expressed his wishes for the continued prosperity of his friendly country.

In conclusion, the meeting participants expressed confidence in the need to deepen the interstate mutually beneficial partnership in various areas.
