ASHGABAT HOSTS CONFERENCE ON CONSTITUTION AND STATE FLAG DAY OF TURKMENISTAN

On May 15, the Center for Public Associations of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific and practical conference entitled “The Constitution of Turkmenistan is a legal guarantee of the country’s permanent neutrality, the State Flag is a symbol of international peace,” timed to coincide with the celebration of Constitution and State Flag Day of Turkmenistan.

The conference was attended by deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Halk Maslahaty of Ashgabat, representatives of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, public associations, various sectors of the country’s economy, the media, scientists, teachers and youth.

The delegates noted in their speeches that the joint celebration of the significant date in the International Year of Peace and Trust takes on special meaning and content.

The conference included the following sections: “International Year of Peace and Trust: Constitutional and Legal Guarantees for the Implementation of Foreign Policy of Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan,” “Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State – Grandiose Transformations Carried Out in the Field of Economic Policy, Consistent Improvement of the Housing and Social Standards of Our People,” and “International Year of Peace and Trust: The Importance of Turkmenistan’s International Initiatives in Ensuring Global Security and Trust.”
