SHOWCASE OF TURKMEN-ITALIAN FASHION COLLECTIONS HELD IN ASHGABAT

A fashion show was held in the gallery of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. Italian designers Gloria Trevisiani and Claudia Bellini, as well as their creative partner, a student of the Academy, Jennet Agayeva, presented their signature collections to the Ashgabat public.

Gloria Trevisiani and Claudia Bellini tried to preserve the Italian charm when creating their collections, while giving preference to the national Turkmen style and color scheme, using national jewelry and embroidery.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Italy to Turkmenistan Luigi Ferrari, the heads of the Italian national association Federmoda Antonio Franceschini and Roberto Corbelli. The Federmoda Association is one of the leading fashion agencies in Italy, dictating world fashion trends.
