THE HEAD OF TURKMENISTAN'S FOREIGN MINISTRY HELD A TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH HIS COUNTERPART FROM SOMALIA

On 03.12.2025 Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdisalam Abdi Ali.

The parties discussed the two countries' cooperation within international organizations, primarily the UN. They noted the similarities between Turkmenistan and Somalia's approaches to global peace and sustainable development.

Preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will take place on December 12 in Ashgabat and will coincide with significant dates: the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and International Neutrality Day, were also discussed.
