UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY INCLUDES ARKADAG CONFERENCE DOCUMENT IN AGENDA

The final document from the international conference titled “Year of Peace and Trust: International Cooperation for the Sake of Children”, held on March 29 in the city of Arkadag, has been translated into the official UN languages and included in the agenda of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The event, dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children, attracted international attention and marked a significant development on the global stage.

The document covers topics such as a culture of peace, social development, peacebuilding, and the protection of children's rights.

The international recognition of the forum highlights the importance of Turkmenistan’s efforts to ensure child welfare. Key focus areas include protecting children's rights and promoting peace through international cooperation.

On March 21, 2025, the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted the resolution “Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan”.
