THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN ATTENDED THE NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATION AT THE COUNTRY'S MAIN CHRISTMAS TREE.

Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a New Year's performance at the country's main Christmas tree in front of the Älem cultural and entertainment center in Ashgabat.

Children from all regions of the country, the capital, and the city of Arkadag participated in the event. The main Christmas tree, crowned with an eight-pointed star bearing the inscription "2026," became the center of the festivities.

All participants received New Year's gifts.

The festive performance continued in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where pop, theater, and circus artists, folklore and dance groups, and children's art groups performed.

Members of the government with their children and grandchildren, as well as the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan and the country's consular offices abroad and their families, also participated in the New Year's celebration.
