PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN CONGRATULATES CITIZENS ON DAY OF KNOWLEDGE

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended his congratulations to teachers, students, and schoolchildren on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, marking the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year.

In his address, the head of state noted that the new academic year will see the opening of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Ashgabat, along with a new academic building and dormitory in Mary. Additionally, new schools and preschool institutions will open in the capital and across the regions. According to the president, these developments meet international standards and contribute to the ongoing modernization of the national education system.

“Our teachers, students, and schoolchildren make a significant contribution to upholding the foundations of our sacred independence and neutrality, which has been recognized three times by the United Nations,” Berdimuhamedov stated.

The president wished students and schoolchildren success in their academic, scientific, and creative pursuits, and extended his best wishes for health and fruitful work to educators across the country.
