On July 7, Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held separate telephone conversations with his counterparts: Lesotho Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Lejone Mpotjoane and Eswatini Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Folile Shakantu.

During both conversations, the diplomats discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and confirmed their interest in further strengthening interaction at international venues.

Particular attention during the talks was paid to issues related to preparations for the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), which will be held in Avaza. The exchange of views on this topic underscored the importance of the upcoming forum for both African countries and Turkmenistan as the host country.
