PEOPLE OF TURKMENISTAN CELEBRATE KURBAN BAYRAMY

These days the celebration of Kurban Bayramy is widely held in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, as well as in all regions of the country.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sincerely congratulated the Turkmen people on Kurban Bayramy, a holiday that enriches universal human values and strengthens high humanistic relations.

"This year, marked by celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, we sent thousands of our compatriots to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. There they will be able to perform all the rituals, including the Hajj, in the two holy sites of Islam - the Holy Kaaba in Mecca and the Prophet Muhammad Mosque in Medina," the head of state noted in his congratulatory message.

On the first day of the holiday, festive prayers were performed, prayers were said and festive events dedicated to Kurban Bayramy were held in all regions of the country.
