TEIF 2025: INVESTMENT PROSPECTS OF TURKMENISTAN HELD IN KUALA LUMPUR
The International Forum on Attracting Foreign Investments into the Economy of Turkmenistan (TEIF 2025) was held in the capital of Malaysia on April 23 and 24, 2025.
The forum was organized by the State Concerns Turkmengaz, Turkmennebit and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in partnership with the Turkmen Energy Forum.
This event became an important milestone in the country's economic diplomacy strategy aimed at expanding international partnerships and strengthening its position in the global investment market.
The forum brought together a wide range of participants - from members of the Turkmen government to representatives of more than 40 countries, international organizations, large companies, financial institutions and industry experts.
The central theme of the forum was increasing the country's investment attractiveness. In his welcoming address, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of attracting capital to key sectors: fuel and energy, construction, transport, digital technologies, industry, agriculture, textile and food industries.
Particular attention was paid to environmental sustainability issues - in particular, reducing methane and CO2 emissions, as well as developing "green" energy.
Experts presented reports to forum participants on projects being implemented in Turkmenistan in the energy, telecommunications, construction and banking sectors. Initiatives to digitalize the economy and expand export potential aroused great interest.
This event not only enhances Turkmenistan's investment attractiveness, but also emphasizes the country's desire for open dialogue and sustainable development.
